It seems Brighton & Hove Albion are far from being the only club interested in signing Jota Silva from Vitória Guimarães.
Earlier this week, the Portuguese media revealed that the Seagulls sent a scout to see him in action in a league match against Porto.
Now it seems it’s actually the Dragons who will compete with Brighton for that signing, as newspaper A Bola today reports their interest.
The outlet claims Porto are keen on Silva, even though they’re not expected to have any advantage to keep the winger in his home country.
Without mentioning Brighton, A Bola writes that Silva is wanted by foreign clubs who have a bigger economic power than the Dragons.
Vitória Guimarães are said to be keen on making a big sale in the summer, knowing it will be hard to hold him for another season, so his exit is becoming more obvious now.
Previous reports from Portugal said his club demand €12m for his sale, but with the interest growing, we shall see if the demands get bigger as well.
