KRC Genk defender Daniel Muñoz is scheduled to fly to London this afternoon to undergo a medical with Crystal Palace and complete his move to Selhurst Park.
That’s according to Het Belang van Limburg, who provide their own details on the transfer today and say it is ‘almost complete’.
They report that Crystal Palace reached a verbal agreement with Genk on Friday morning for the Colombian defender and Muñoz ‘will fly to London’ at some point this afternoon to undergo his medical and physical tests.
According to their information the deal would involve a transfer fee of approximately €10m, but that amount will only be achieved if Muñoz plays a certain amount of minutes for Crystal Palace.
The Belgian side have also secured a future percentage of a sale should he prove to be a success for Roy Hodgson’s side.
There is confidence all round that the deal will be completed sooner rather than later and the player is on his way to London to complete the next step and finalise matters after Crystal Palace finally struck an agreement earlier today following their efforts throughout this month.
