TMW have claimed Chelsea have already made an approach to Anderlecht with regards to the availability of Tielemans. Conte is a great admirer of the 19-year-old, and he’s instructed the Chelsea board to get him the youngster during the summer transfer window.
It’s also been reported Anderlecht will be prepared to sell Tielemans to the Premier League leaders, and that their sporting director Herman van Holsebeeck will allow the transfer.
With the interest from England the Jupiler side know they will not be able to keep hold of their prized asset for much longer, and a move is looking likely in the next window.
Tielemans came through the Anderlecht youth system, and made his debut for the club in 2013. The young midfielder has since gone on to make over a hundred league appearances for the Belgian side, which has also brought him international recognition with Belgium.
Chelsea’s disadvantage could be that Tielemans will be hesitant about going somewhere he may not be first choice. The youngster has had opportunities before to leave Anderlecht and turned them down so as not to stall his progression. In a recent radio interview in Belgium, Tielemans agreed that a club like Everton could be the ideal environment for him.
