It appears that despite the insistence of Tosin Adarabioyo, AS Monaco will not be the next destination of the Fulham defender.
The centre-back has been trying to find an exit route from Craven Cottage since the start of the transfer window, with principality side his favoured landing spot.
However, the latest news from Foot Mercato in France believe the deal with Fulham is all but off.
Despite the ‘strong desire’ from Adarabioyo to sign for Monaco and leave Fulham for good with a year left on his contract at the Premier League side, the deal now has ‘great chances of collapsing’.
The Ligue 1 side have even made a ‘firm offer’ to Fulham, but have not received a response from Craven Cottage, which goes to show where their view on the matter currently stands.
That’s why Monaco are now going after other alternatives, such as Sporting CP’s Ousmane Diomandé and Filipe Relvas, currently contracted to Portimonense.
