Chelsea and Juventus may continue to be engaged in one of the most important transactions of the summer, as they study a deal involving Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic – however – that doesn’t mean that the Bianconeri fans are keen on the operation.
As today reported by Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, supporters are actually rebelling against the club’s decision to sign the Blues’ striker.
As Juventus are playing a friendly against their Next Gen squad, there are over 20,000 fans watching the game at the Allianz Stadium. And among the chants in support of the club, they’ve manifested their position regarding the Chelsea player, chanting: “We don’t want Lukaku”
In what is becoming a long saga, the clubs continue to discuss how much money the Blues need to put on the table to get the swap done.
Reports from the Italian media have been saying that with the injury to Christopher Nkunku, Juventus have a new advantage in the negotiations, and could now stand firm as they wait for Chelsea to meet their valuation of Vlahovic.
Now with their own fans going against Lukaku’s arrival, we shall see if they’ll continue with that plan.
