AC Milan defender Fodé Ballo-Touré is now ‘very close’ to joining Fulham, having made his mind up on the move to Craven Cottage.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, who says a deal for the 26-year-old left-back is close to being completed.
Di Marzio reported earlier today that Fulham had made an offer to AC Milan to sign the defender, who had been left out of Milan’s pre-season tour to the US because he was closing in on an exit.
That followed claims at the end of last month that Fulham were keen on the defender as they seek to strengthen Marco Silva’s squad this summer.
Di Marzio now reports that the player has decided to join Fulham and is close to doing so, having reflected on his future as he also had offers on the table from OGC Nice and Bologna.
He makes no mention of the finer details of the transfer, such as a fee, contract, or anything of that nature, just that a deal taking him to London is now close to being done.
We’ll keep an eye on that in the coming hours and days, with Ballo-Touré presumably set to travel to England for a medical sooner rather than later.
