Barcelona continue to look for sales in the current window, with the Blaugrana in a seemingly endless battle to balance their finances.

Earlier today we covered a report from Spanish newspaper AS which said the Catalan club have identified Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres as two players they can sell for good fees this summer, likely to clubs in the Premier League.

However they’re both reluctant and Barcelona are frustrated with the ‘attitude’ of the pair.

Meanwhile, Fichajes report Newcastle United are very keen on Ferran Torres. The Magpies are expected to offer ‘close to €40m’ for the former Manchester City player.

Barcelona would then bite Newcastle’s hand off for the chance to sell their player for such a fee, and it’s assumed the bid would be accepted very quickly.

Of course, Eddie Howe’s side have to actually offer it first.

Then, once accepted, it would be down to Torres to decide what he wants to do. If he can be convinced that his time at Barcelona is over, whether he wants it to be or not, then he’s not going to get a lot of offers better than Newcastle United.
