Mohammed Kudus remains determined to leave Ajax and would like to join Everton to get his chance in the Premier League.
That’s according to Voetbal International, who say the midfielder refused to train today in an effort to force the move to Goodison Park.
They report that Everton’s interest in Kudus has been ‘concrete’ for several weeks, but Ajax are refusing to cooperate.
They don’t want to let the Ghanaian go but he’s not happy as he knows he will only be playing a role from the bench this season.
Thus, he will need to ‘force a transfer’ and showed his displeasure with the situation today via his absence from training.
According to journalist Mike Verweij, the player has taken a leaf out of the book of former teammates Antony and Lisandro Martinez, who both refused to train to force through moves to Manchester United this summer.
He says that they have set an example and there is now a belief the Dutch giants will relent if player’s force the issue.
Whether they will remains to be seen, but it appears like Antony and Martinez, Kudus is willing to do hit utmost to give them a decision to make once again.
