Earlier today, it was said that Nottingham Forest had turned their attention to Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga and could cause problems for Milan.
Well, that has now happened, if Calciomercato are to be believed, as he reveals that the Tricky Trees have made ‘an offer worth €25m’ for the Spurs defender.
While that’s exactly what Tottenham were hoping for, the same cannot be said for Tanganga, as the player ‘wants Milan and has reiterated this to his agents in the last few hours’.
The player has made a move to the Serie A side, where he could play alongside Fikayo Tomori, a ‘priority’, and he ‘intends to wait a few more days’ to see if he can get what he wants.
That being said, Nottingham Forest ‘are serious and close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham’.
This means that the ball is now in Milan’s hands, who will have to change something in their arguments if they want to sign the Spurs player.
Otherwise, they will see him swiftly end up at Nottingham Forest, where Steve Cooper and those above him have put together a huge upheaval of their squad this summer to better compete in the Premier League.
