Shakhtar Donetsk forward Manor Solomon is ‘one step away’ from an agreement to join Fulham this summer.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who say Torino’s chances of signing the player are ‘diminishing’ because of the Cottagers’ advances.
According to their information, Solomon ‘would prefer’ to move to England than Italy, and that wish could soon be satisfied as he is one step away from an agreement with Fulham.
Torino have not given up hope of signing the player completely at this point, but they are already looking elsewhere at various alternatives.
Now there’s no mention of Fulham striking a deal with Shakhtar Donetsk at this point, just that they are close to an agreement with the 22-year-old.
It means we’ll have to temper our excitement at this potential signing for the Cottagers for the time being.
However, the fact that their main competition, Torino, are seemingly pulling back does give them a good chance of getting their man.
