Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has given his thanks to his team after being inducted into the Hall of Fame of the FIGC last night. Ranieri guided his Leicester City to the Premier League title last season against all the odds.

Speaking to TWM Radio, Ranieri was asked how he felt being inducted into the Italian football hall of fame. The Leicester City boss said this could not have happened if he wasn’t for what his players achieved. Ranieri revealed it’s his love for the game which helps him remain happy in his job even though there are bad spells as a manager.

“I thank Leicester, without my team I could not receive the award. I do this work out of love and passion, I chose to be the manager for better or for worse,” said the Leicester City boss.

Ranieri’s honour last night in Florence comes after the Italian was recently named the FIFA coach of the year. The Leicester City coach has arrived a minor miracle at the club in winning the Premier League, and even though his side have struggled in the league this season they’ve done well in the Champions League.
