Almoatasembellah Al Musrati is close to leaving Braga and move to Fulham, according to reports from Portugal.
Newspaper Jornal de Notícias writes that the midfielder could soon sign for the Whites for their upcoming Premier League campaign and join manager Marco Silva there.
It’s claimed that the interest from the Cottagers ‘accelerated in the past few days’, and that’s why Al Musrati was released from Libya’s game against Botswana tonight, as he’s expected to complete the transfer.
Speaking of the price, Jornal de Notícias first takes claims from the English press to say Fulham are willing to spend €15m on the signing, and then adds that’s an amount which Braga should accept.
Al Musrati has been playing in Portugal since 2017, which is where he featured for Vitória Guimarães, Rio Ave and Braga, who he joined on a free transfer in 2020.
This season for the Arsenalistas, he made 45 appearances, being an important piece for them and raising his valuation on Transfermarkt to €12m.
Fulham’s interest in signing him was reported just last week, and it seems Marco Silva’s side moved quickly for the transfer.
