For the last two months, reports coming out of Italy have said Arsenal are keeping tabs on Palmeiras’ Danilo.
On April 13th, we covered claims made by Radiosei that the Gunners have ‘set their sights’ on the 21-year-old. It was also explained his agent’s goal is to bring his client to Europe next season.
Calciomercato.it have come up with a report on the midfielder and they name Arsenal as of his suitors.
Juventus and Inter Milan are following Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes, who is ‘destined to change’ clubs in the summer. The Ligue 1 side’s idea is to replace him with the Brazilian.
Danilo is monitored by Juve and AC Milan, while there is a ‘concrete interest’ in him from PSG. His initial valuation has ‘now risen to at least €25m’. This is an ‘important figure’ for the Brazilian, ‘justified by the recent return to the flame’ from Arsenal.
It’s claimed Gunners chief, Edu Gaspar, is the ‘first sponsor’ of his compatriot at the Emirates.
PSG are showing ‘concrete interest’ in the player and Mikel Arteta’s side will have to beat them, if they want to sign the South American this summer.
Danilo has six goals and two assists in all competitions this year for Palmeiras.
Interestingly, we covered a report from Brazil this week which explained the player has been learning English ahead of a potential transfer.
That would be a distinct advantage for Arsenal.
