Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong has admitted he would ‘never say never’ to a return to Feyenoord this summer.
The forward is currently on loan with Birmingham City in the Championship, having joined the Blues on loan in January for regular playing time.
He’s due to return to Manchester United in the summer when a decision will have to be made about his future.
His contract was set to expire this summer, but Manchester United have taken up a one-year option on that deal, something Chong himself recently confirmed.
It’s believed that new United manager Erik ten Hag wants to take a look at his compatriot in pre-season before making a decision on his future.
It’s something the forward is seemingly aware of and isn’t ruling out a return to his former club if it’s offered to him.
‘“I sincerely do not know what my next step is,” Soccer News report him saying.
“Man United, another Premier League club, a foreign league, the Eredivisie? I really have no idea.
“Back to Feyenoord? I never say never, haha. The intention is that I will play more again, and we will see where that is after the summer. I really don’t rule anything out in advance.”
