With Leicester City set to face Rennes in the Europa Conference League, all eyes in France, at least in the north-west, are turned on who could miss the fixture.
This matchup is a big deal for the Ligue 1 side, who already made life very difficult for Tottenham in the group stages, and there will be some hope of getting a good first result at the King Power Stadium on Thursday to then stand a chance of going through with a second leg in Brittany.
One boost they have received on Wednesday is the return to training of Lovro Majer, who missed the weekend’s victory over Angers through injury.
Ouest-France provide an update on the squad situation ahead of the game against Leicester, and while the Croatian did make a return, five other players were missing.
Those were backup goalkeeper Romain Salin (calf), 17-year-old starlet Lesley Ugochukwu (ankle), starting centre-back Loïc Badé (adductor), left-winger Kamaldeen Sulemana (back) and 24-year-old defender Jérémy Gélin (knee).
Seeing as there’s just over 24 hours left before the game against Leicester, it’s more than likely all above will miss the fixture.
