The longstanding legal battle between Allan and his former club Napoli has gone the way of the Serie A club, report AreaNapoli.
Before he moved to Everton, the Brazilian midfielder was involved in a huge disagreement with Napoli.
In August, it was reported Allan was facing a fine of up to €160k from his former club, who were taking legal action to ensure they got the money following a player mutiny, back when Carlo Ancelotti was in charge of the Italians.
The situation dates back to November 2019 when the then Napoli squad was sent to a training camp, after a run of poor results. At the time, the Italian media saw it as part training and part punishment.
Some players refused, including the Everton man, and he also had an argument with Edoardo De Laurentiis, the son of the club’s owner.
Fines were handed out, and Allan appealed, which leads us to where we are now.
AreaNapoli report the courts have found in Napoli’s favour and judged that two fines handed out to the player, totalling €170,587.50 (around £140k), were justified.
Not great news for the Everton midfielder.
