Tottenham Hotspur chief football officer Fabio Paratici is an admirer of Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozović.
The midfielder was vital in helping the Serie A side win the title last season, while Juventus narrowly managed to qualify for the Champions League after finishing fourth in the table.
Following the Old Lady’s disappointing campaign, Paratici left Juve and arrived at the north London club back in June. After joining Spurs, the English club’s chief is believed to have not forgotten about Brozović, whose contract expires in 2022.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 28-year-old is asking for an annual salary of €6m to continue at the San Siro beyond this term.
The Italian champions are going through a tough phase, where they must save money when making new additions. The same will be applicable when it comes to extending player contracts.
Almost everyone understands this, but not Epic Team, the agency managing the Croatia international. The report states ‘great attention’ must be paid to ‘British temptations.’
After tagging Manchester United, Gazzetta states ‘watch out for Tottenham’.
According to the newspaper, Paratici would have wanted the player at Juventus and therefore, it would be logical to believe he still follows Brozović from London.
While there are ‘temptations’ from Spurs and United, Inter are hoping to receive Brozović’s ‘yes’ as soon as possible, to renew his contract.
