As Chelsea are expected to deliver another offer for Inter Milan star Romelu Lukaku, reports from the Italian media now say the Blues could actually put two options on the table.
It’s Sky Italia (via FC Inter News) who comes up with a report saying the Stamford Bridge side will give the Nerazzurri the possibilities of accepting only cash or a player included as well.
One of the bids is of €105m plus the transfer of Davide Zappacosta, which in Chelsea’s valuation, would match Inter Milan’s demand of €120m.
The other option would be an offer of €110m or €115m only in cash. FC Inter News points out the very same Sky Italia had reported this as ‘rejected’ a few hours ago, but now comes up with this again.
It’s claimed that Inter Milan’s preference would be for only money, even though they won’t reinvest all of it. It’s said the club would keep €30-35m and spend the other €80-€85m to reinforce the squad.
