Italy: Make your mind up.
One week the Italian media state Simone Zaza really wants to leave West Ham, and the next week it’s that he’s committed to staying and making a success of his stint in the Premier League.
After days of him wanting to stay and work for Slaven Bilic, it’s now back to the opposite. Calciomercato report that Zaza ‘cannot wait’ to leave West Ham and return to Italy, given his difficult start to the season.
Maybe the Italian media can be forgiven, slightly, because the claims coming from Zaza’s camp have been mixed too. The purpose of Calciomercato’s latest Zaza claims are Napoli related, and whilst he’s not their first choice addition, he appears to be some kind of safety net option.
Perhaps things have changed overnight, with Zaza not even managing to get on the pitch against Manchester United on Sunday. Bliic used all his three changes, and brought Ashley Fletcher, Andre Ayew and Sofiane Feghouli, the latter to waste time, on instead.
