Alexis Sanchez has had an impressive start to the season, but there is uncertainty over his long term future at the North London club.
The Chilean international has another 18 months left on his contract at the Emirates, and whilst there’s been talk of a renewal, rumours will be encouraged the longer it takes to settle a new contract.
The 27-year-old has emerged as a target for Inter Milan, reports Calciomercato. With the arrival of cash rich owners Inter are already preparing themselves for next summer, and the Arsenal star is on their radar.
Calciomercato say Sanchez will be a ‘dream signing’ for Inter, who want to sign a big name to increase their revenue through merchandise. At the moment it wouldn’t make sense for Sanchez to leave Arsenal for Inter, because quite simply there isn’t anything the Serie A side could offer more than Arsenal.
Inter are struggling in the Serie A, and Champions League qualification also looks unlikely.
Sanchez may well be a dream of Inter but it’s likely that’s all it’s going to be.
