Everton are one of several clubs showing an interest in Stuttgart striker Saša Kalajdžić this summer.
That’s according to TuttoJuve, who say the Blues ‘like’ the striker alongside the likes of Juventus, RB Leipzig and Newcastle United.
Kalajdžić has been enjoying a strong season in the Bundesliga this year, with 13 goals and four assists to his name in 24 league games so far.
That form has earned the 23-year-old plenty of attention from elsewhere, with several reports already having linked him with a move to the Premier League and the likes of Leeds and West Ham United.
They claim that the Italian side are ‘would also be on’ Kalajdzic, who has been described as the ‘next Haaland’ in some quarters.
It’s believed he ‘may soon make the leap’, and his ‘affordable’ valuation of €20m has several clubs, including Everton, considering a move for him.
That would certainly make sense, with the Blues in need of offensive reinforcements to back up Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Kalajdžić the type of signing that would fit into Marcel Brands desire to sign up and coming players who could be sold on for a higher price in future.
Any move is likely to rest on Moise Kean, though.
If he stays after returning from PSG, then a move for Kalajdžić would make little sense.
On the other hand, if he leaves, Everton will likely be on the look for a replacement and Kalajdžić would fit the bill after his impressive season in Germany.
