Signed from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana back in January 2018, Kamal Sowah has yet to make an appearance for Leicester City.
He has, however, featured a number of times for Oud-Heverlee Leuven (OHL for short), where he has been on loan ever since he arrived.
Sent there to get some experience under his belt, the 20-year-old has done just that, and following their promotion to the top tier, he’s having his best season to date.
Incredibly versatile, the young Ghanaian has featured in a number of positions for the Belgian club, scoring six goals and assisting another four in 19 league games, which has caught the eye of Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1.
This is according to GhanaSoccernet, who reported on Wednesday that the French club are ‘preparing an amount of around €2m before making a first bid’ for the Leicester City loanee.
They add Sowah ‘recently signed a long-term contract’ with the Foxes after impressing for OHL, so it remains to be seen if they accept such a small fee for the player.
