Queens Park Rangers midfielder Leroy Fer has told the Dutch media he would like to return to Swansea City this summer. The Holland international had a loan spell with the Premier League side last season.
Speaking to AD, Fer was asked about his future plans after QPR failed to get promotion back to the Premier League last season. The Dutchman revealed that since he joined Swansea City he’s felt at home, and would therefore like to remain with the Welsh club.
“I immediately felt at ease. If possible I would like to stay here. They really play football here,” said Fer on his future and desire to remain at Swansea City.
Fer spent the second half of last season on loan with Swansea City, and he helped them consolidate their place in the Premier League.
There have been recent claims he’s close to joining Swansea City on a permeant deal this summer for a fee close to £5m.
