Arsenal defender Pablo Mari is still to feature for the Gunners this season, as he keeps working on his recovery from an ankle injury.
For some reason, there’s been rumours in Brazil saying the player could be loaned back to Flamengo, where he would slowly get fit and ready to play for the Premier League side.
Journalist Jorge Nicola brings a video saying many Flamengo fans have been asking him about this, so he contacted ‘a Brazilian who works at Arsenal’ to know more about the story.
Nicola was told there’s no chance the Gunners are loaning Mari right now, claiming the club spent £14m to make his move permanent this summer, and won’t just let him go like this.
Pablo Mari joined Arsenal on a loan move in January, and the London side used a buying option to buy him in July.
The defender, who has only three appearances for the club so far, is expected to be available for the Gunners at the end of the month.
