Takvim report Crystal Palace owned striker Alexander Sörloth has held talks with his current club Trabzonspor and insisted he won’t be going anywhere this summer.
Sörloth was arguably the best player in the Turkish Super Lig last season after he scored 24 league goals, finishing the season as top scorer.
The Norwegian attacker has been linked with a move to German side RB Leipzig in recent weeks, but Takvim claim he’s held talks with Trabzonspor and has told the club’s board he wants to stay for another season.
Following these positive talks, it’s reported Trabzonspor will purchase Sörloth from Crystal Palace by paying his €6m redemption clause.
The Turkish side will also try to negotiate to remove the €9m release clause which will be activated if he permanently signs for the Super Lig side.
He scored 33 goals in all competitions last season, and his contract at Selhurst Park will expire at the end of June 2022.
