The signing of Raul Jiménez is an idea which continues to grow at Juventus, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport today.
The outlet makes it clear there’s no agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers so far, but there’s some confidence about that due to the help of Jorge Mendes in the process.
Besides being Jiménez’ agent, the representative has worked with Juventus on the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, and is well known for helping Wolves in the past few years.
The problem for the Old Lady is that the Molineux side are still ‘cold’ about a swap, while the Italian club are keen on offering Aaron Ramsey to make his way back to the Premier League.
Tuttosport also writes that in case Jiménez keeps the same salary he has at Wolves, Juve would spend less with him than if they were to sign the likes of Edin Džeko and Arkadiusz Milik.
That makes the Mexican international a top target for the club.
But the Old Lady are also concerned about the competition from Manchester United, especially because the Red Devils are close on getting a place in the Champions League for the next season.
