Turkish newspaper Fotomac report Brighton and Hove Albion striker Florin Andone, who’s currently on loan at Galatasaray, is a target for Scottish giants Rangers.
Fotomac claim that as soon as he leaves Galatasaray, Andone will look to find a new club and there’s a ‘significant chance’ that he could be heading to Ibrox to team up with Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard could be looking to bolster his attacking options this summer with the uncertainty over Jermain Defoe’s future in Glasgow.
The Galatasaray board are also ready to part ways with the Romanian striker at the end of the season and are in the market for his replacement.
A fresh start could be good for the 26 year old, and Fotomac claim Rangers could offer him this.
Andone’s spell at Galatasaray started well but after picking up a knee injury in November, he’s only played two games for the club.
His made 11 appearances for Gala in the Turkish Super Lig this season, scoring two goals. His contract with Brighton will expire at the end of June 2023.
