Turkish newspaper Fotomac report Galatasaray currently have the edge to sign Watford owned striker Luis Suarez.
The Colombian striker has been performing well with Real Zaragoza this season, and that has led to interest from the likes of Valencia and Galatasaray.
Fotomac claim Galatasaray are fighting it out with Real Betis and Getafe for the player, and they’ve made a loan offer to Watford.
It’s stated that Turkish side are currently leading the race for the 22 year old as they see him as an ideal replacement for Brighton loanee Florin Andone, who will likely return to his parent club at the end of the season.
Gala could offer him a chance to fight for the title and European football next season, with the Istanbul club sitting 3rd in the league with eight games to play.
Reports from Italy have been covering Serie A interest, and it’s hard to see how Gala can compete, regardless of how confident the Turkish media are.
Suarez has made 30 appearances for Real Zaragoza this season in all competitions, scoring 17 goals.
He signed for Watford in 2017, but has yet to make a Premier League appearances for the Hornets.
