Manchester City youngster Kluiverth Aguilar has admitted he is “really excited” to join the club after finally sealing a move to the Etihad.
17-year-old Aguilar completed a move to Manchester City earlier this month after months of speculation about a transfer.
The Alianza Lima youngster had been heavily linked with making the switch for the best part of a year, with City seemingly edging closer with every update.
They finally brought an end to those rumours last month when they reached an agreement to sign Aguilar, with him set to move to England when he turns 18 next year.
He’s already commented on his plans, such as buying his mum and dad a house, as well as his delight at the prospect of working with Pep Guardiola in future.
For now, he has to finish his final year with Alianza, although his excitement is building ahead of his big move to England.
“It all came together for me: the happiness and the sadness of what’s happening with the coronavirus pandemic,” he told Depor.
“I’m really excited to see England and the Manchester City campus. I’m studying English. I speak it more or less.
“I’m still struggling with my speaking, but I’m getting into it a bit.”
