Leeds United look set to land themselves a bargain, following comments from Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi that he could sell Pontus Jansson for €15m. This week the Sweden international revealed talks are under way for him to join Leeds United on a permanent deal following claims the fee will be around £3.5m
“You’re still a player, I think I can sell you for 10-15 million, and I think so much of you, but this is the way it is. I can’t do anything. The coach does not believe in you,” Jansson said he was told during a meeting with Petrachi.
Last month Jansson confirmed if he plays 20 games for Leeds United this season then the transfer will be made permanent. However, it seems the Sweden international has done enough in his short time at the club to convince Leeds United manager Garry Monk to get a deal done sooner.
