Juventus’ interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane is highlighted by Turin newspaper Tuttosport today.
The outlet writes that the Old Lady are looking for a striker to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, and the 26-year-old is one of the main names on the list.
Tuttosport explains how things haven’t been great at Tottenham lately, and the bad season they’re having could encourage this transfer for two reasons.
Firstly because Kane could seek a move out of the club, and secondly because with the money from the sale, Spurs could rebuild their squad.
The newspaper claims that despite his injury and the possible lack of Champions League football next season, Kane would still cost between €150m and €170m. Since Juventus have already proved their ambition with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, that doesn’t sound like an impossible fee for them.
Still, this is a very speculative story, and developments would depend on a lot of factors, so we wouldn’t be very enthusiastic about it for now.
