There’s still around two weeks until Rangers face Braga for the Europa League, but the Scottish side seem to be already getting prepared for it.
That’s because according to newspaper Record today, scouts from the Ibrox club have been in the north of Portugal to watch their upcoming rivals.
Rangers representatives went to see Braga play a big league game against Sporting, which they managed to win with a goal score by Francisco Trincão.
Even though the midfielder is set to join Barcelona in the summer, as agreed by the end of the transfer window, he’s still able to help the Portuguese side, and should be a threat for Rangers.
Besides Trincão, goalkeeper Matheus and defender Bruno Viana also had a great performance, proving that Braga’s defence isn’t something easy to get through.
Rangers and Braga face each other for Europa League’s round-of-32. The first leg is being played at Ibrox on February 20th, and one week later, they play again at Estádio Municipal de Braga.
