Steven Nzonzi has been trying to find himself a new club for much of the current transfer window.
Owned by AS Roma, the midfielder spent the first half of the season loan at Galatasaray, but things haven’t been going according to plan.
The Turkish club are thought to be ready to call off the deal, so those who represent Nzonzi have been looking for a new club. West Ham and other Premier League clubs have been mentioned, however, this week it was reported the player had chosen Rennes.
Despite that, the Ligue 1 club still haven’t managed to agree a deal with Roma, and that’s where Tottenham’s Victor Wanyama comes in.
According to L’Equipe, the Spurs player is being offered around, and the chance of signing him has been presented to Rennes.
Rennes are ‘studying’ the idea of signing the Tottenham player, although it seems clear that Nzonzi is their first choice as things stand.
Wanyama, meanwhile, is said to have a ‘firm offer’ from Fiorentina.
