After months and months of confidence verging on cockiness that Bayern Munich were Leroy Sane’s transfer desire, Bild are starting to have other ideas.
The German newspaper had already reported this week that the Manchester City player isn’t so sure on a move to the Bundesliga giants, or at least not as sure as he once was.
Sane recently changed agents and it’s led to more doubt around his future, and has certainly had an impact in Bavaria.
Bayern are said to be somewhat frustrated that they’d now have to start transfer negotiations with a new set of representatives, and presumably have to agree different terms on both wages and agent commission.
Bild say Sane to Bayern was considered ‘almost certain’ but now that serious doubt has crept in, the German club will look at other options.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz is one, RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner is another, and it’s even stated the Munich club could look at Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic as longer term options, despite both being on loan.
