Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has been left ‘annoyed’ at a delay in a potential move to Estudiantes.
The United centre back is hoping to secure a return to his homeland this month after managing just nine appearances in all competitions for United this season.
Negotiations between Manchester United and Estudiantes are underway, but a new ‘impasse’ in the talks has left Rojo annoyed.
According to El Dia, everything indicated that an agreement would be reached yesterday, but a new problem arose, and generating ‘uncertainty’ and led to more frustration for Rojo.
He ‘will put pressure’ so that the issue can be resolved and his representation, the Stellar Group, met with the club yesterday to try and push things through.
Rojo wants the move sorted as soon as possible, and his idea is to take a plane to Ezeiza International Airport today, although he has to wait for the okay from Manchester United first.
There is currently ‘a lot of optimism’ at Estudiantes that a deal will finally be agreed and Gabriel Milito and his coaching staff are looking forward to having him ‘in the next few days’.
If he does catch a flight today, he could be with the squad tomorrow, according to El Dia, with them hoping he would sign a 12 or 18-month loan deal at the club.
