Last week, Willian Jose asked to be left out of a Real Sociedad match, as there were talks ongoing with Tottenham regarding a January transfer.
La Real also kept the striker out of their squad this weekend, although he’s been training normally with them.
Sunday afternoon saw claims from the Netherlands that Spurs want to sign Steven Bergwijn. It was also stated the attacker would be left out of PSV’s squad for their match against FC Twente on Sunday.
Then Fox Sports in the Netherlands presented the move as all agreed. As far as they had it the transfer was happening.
Now PSV have sent out a message making it clear they’re unhappy with the player.
Voetbal International say the Eredivisie side are ‘very disappointed’ with in . Bergwijn and his entourage, and he’s not been given permission to travel anywhere.
PSV want ‘much more’ than the €30-35m being mentioned in the English media. Tottenham are said to have made an offer once (with it not made clear when), but that was rejected and the Dutch club haven’t heard anything since.
They were then contacted on Sunday and made aware Bergwijn would miss the match.
