Fulham remain one of the interested parties in Coria midfielder José Antonio Gómez Márquez, also knowns as Joselito.
The midfielder has been earning rave reviews this season, putting in a series of starring performances for the Tercera División side despite being just 15 years old.
Back in November, we covered a report from Mundo Deportivo that claimed Fulham had made a ‘firm offer’ for his services and even invited him to come see the club’s facilities.
They were not the only interested party, with Barcelona also named at the time, although there has been no updates on the player since then.
However, it appears that Fulham’s interest has not dwindled, with Estadio Deportivo reporting that they remain keen on the teenager.
They say Joselito has been ‘one of the revelations’ of the season and as such, there is a queue of players interested in him.
Fulham are one of them and ‘know his potential firsthand’ although Joselito intends to stay with the club until June, ‘it is not ruled out’ that he could move.
The Cottagers will face competition from several sides, including Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Hellas Verona, with his agent, José Manuel Casado already in Italy.
