Back in mid December, Leicester City were linked with a move for Merih Demiral.
It was stated the Foxes were set to submit an offer around the €30m mark for the Juventus defender, and Brendan Rodgers’ side were one of a handful from the Premier League reportedly interested.
Since then claims have continued to come from the English, Turkish and Italian media, and Leicester and their €30m are back in the picture.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports on Friday evening that Leicester City have ‘submitted an offer in excess of €30m’ for the Turkey international.
Having started to give the player minutes, it’s stated Juventus had closed the doors to a sale, however, the offers coming in could make them more open to a sale.
Borussia Dortmund are reported to have submitted a €40m offer, so would be leading the English club.
As it stands this doesn’t feel a great leap forward from the claims made before Christmas.
