Earlier this week we covered claims from Fenerbahce journalist Feridun Nigdelioglu with regards to Vedat Muriqi.
Nigdelioglu claimed both Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley have made official offers to sign the 25 year old forward in the January transfer window and this has been backed up by Turkish newspaper Turkiye.
They too report both Premier League sides have made proposals for the Kosovo international, but Fenerbahce president Ali Koc quickly rejected these, as he’s stated Muriqi will stay with the Super Lig club at least until the end of the season.
Fenerbahce president also reportedly spoken with Muriqi and informed him about of the offers.
The attacker is said to be focused only on Fenerbahce with the Yellow Canaries preparing themselves for a crucial second half of the season.
Muriqi has been linked with a move to the Premier League since the start of the season, mainly with Tottenham. However, it seems Fener will keep their prized asset for the time being as they look to win the Super Lig title.
