Brazilian side Fluminense are about to make a new bid for the purchase of Allan from Liverpool, according to claims on Monday.
Website UOL reports that club president Mario Bittencourt is the one in charge of negotiations, and he’s counting on the player’s desire to stay in Rio de Janeiro to help the transfer.
Fluminense first made a bid for 50% of the player’s rights, giving Liverpool 50% of a future transfer. However, the Reds want to make as much money as possible now, and that’s why the Brazilian club are now making an offer for 80%, giving the Anfield side only 20% of a future sale.
It’s claimed that Allan’s wish to stay at Fluminense has even made some clubs such as São Paulo and Atlético Mineiro give up on his signing. The player himself has been in England to help Flu in the talks with Liverpool.
