Out on loan at Parma from Atalanta, Dejan Kulusevski is earning plenty of rave reviews for his performances.
The youngster has two goals and five assists in 12 games so far this season, and that has seemingly attracted interest from clubs around Europe.
Southampton and Wolves were named as potential suitors this week, and it now seems that Arsenal and Manchester United have joined the growing list.
According to Corriere Della Sera, both clubs are monitoring the Swedish forward, and there’s even a suggestion that there could be a bidding war between the old rivals.
The newspaper says that Manchester United and Arsenal are ‘observing’ Kulusevski, who is enjoying an ‘explosion’ and ‘repays’ the scouts who come to visit him with assists and a few goals.
There’s no suggestion that either club are ready to make their move for the forward, but it is made clear that if Kulusevski doesn’t move in January, he will do so in June. Atalanta will use the money to finance next season.
Similarly, there’s no asking price mentioned although the earlier reports linking Southampton and Wolves suggested €25m could get a deal done.
That’s a price that both Arsenal and Manchester United could afford, and it remains to be seen if these scouting reports push them to make a move in the coming months.
