After an impressive summer of recruitment, Sevilla chief Monchi has been working hard to get rid of players this week.
One of those is on the sale list is Ibrahim Amadou, and we covered a report earlier today that he was set to join Norwich City on loan with a view to a permanent move.
Estadio Deportivo cover his future today and back up those claims, saying that after a few days of negotiations the two clubs have an agreement in place, minus some final loose ends that need tying up.
In fact, they claim that Norwich will pay an initial €1m loan deal while the purchase option is for €9.5m.
Norwich will also cover the player’s wages in full, which is €3m per year, or around £53,000 per week.
Amadou was travelling to Norwich to undergo a medical today, and unless there are any drastic changes, which Estadio are suggesting there won’t be, he could be a Canaries player by the end of today.
