Brazilian right-back Daniel Alves is on his way to Europe to listen to offers, according to reports this Wednesday.
The player had a few days of vacation since winning the Copa America title, and now he must seek a club to play for, since his contract with PSG expired last month.
Globo Esporte claims that Alves has offers from two European clubs, and is listening to both of them along with his agent.
The player is said to be looking for challenges and stability. That means he wants a top league and a contract of at least two years.
Manchester City are the only club who get a mention in the story, even though Globo Esporte don’t seem to be sure that they’ve made one of the offers.
It’s said Pep Guardiola’s side have been linked to the player, and they report that there was an approach before the Copa America, but there’s still nothing definitive as to whether City are one of the two offers.
Daniel Alves was considered the best player in the tournament, so if Manchester City were interested before the start of the competition, they certainly remain keen now.
