Nottingham Forest won’t only be looking in Portugal for reinforcements this summer.
On Monday, the Championship club confirmed the signings of Yuri Ribeiro and Alfa Semedo.
The latter will be moving on loan for a season from Benfica, with Nottingham Forest having no buying option at the end of the deal. Ribeiro is also arriving from the Lisbon club, however, he’s moving on a permanent deal with Benfica due 50% of a future transfer fee.
On Monday evening, France Football report that Forest are keen on a Bordeaux player. Along with Olympiakos they’re looking at Younousse Sankharé, who is a 29 year old midfielder.
He’s being pushed towards the exit, according to the claims.
Both Nottingham Forest and the Greek club are also interested in Rémi Walter, a midfielder at Nice.
It looks like the owner of the two clubs is assembling transfer targets before deciding which of the sides will make a swoop.
