Fanatik reports Besiktas manager Abdullah Avci has urged the club’s board to sign Leicester City attacker Fousseni Diabate.
The 23 year old spent the second half of last season on loan with Turkish club Sivasspor and his performances have brought him to the attention of Besiktas.
It’s reported Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is prepared to give Diabate a chance to impress during preseason but Besiktas are hoping they can convince the Premier League side over a loan deal for the winger.
According to Fanatik the Super Lig club will also try to get a right of redemption agreement with the Foxes once the loan spell ends.
Diabate played 17 games after moving to Sivasspor in January, scoring two goals and providing three assists. The 23 year old Malian had made just one start in the Premier League before his move to Turkey.
He is under contract at the King Power Stadium until June 2022.
