Dani Ceballos is one of the players Real Madrid are looking to sell in the current transfer window, and several clubs have already been linked with the 22 year old Spaniard.
He signed from Real Betis in 2017, but hasn’t been able to impose himself enough since the big move. Madrid paid around €20m for the midfielder and it’s now claimed they’re looking at making a big profit, despite Ceballos not impressing enough for them.
On Tuesday afternoon, El Desmarque say, according to their own information, that Tottenham are the ‘main player’ in the race to make the signing.
It’s explained Arsenal and Juventus are also keen, but Tottenham currently have the ‘most interest’ in getting a deal over the line.
The claims even state Spurs are willing to spend €40-50m to make the player theirs.
That sounds a little on the high side, and therefore not really like something the Premier League club would do.
Ceballos made 34 appearances for Real Madrid last season, scoring three times and adding two assists.
