Sporx report Galatasaray want to keep Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye beyond this season and the Turkish club are looking to find ways to extend the Senegal international’s stay in Istanbul.
Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is reportedly a big fan of the 28 year old, and the player has reportedly informed Stoke City that he doesn’t want to play in the Championship next season.
According to the Turkish website, Galatasaray have opened official talks with Stoke City to sign Ndiaye but the English club are only looking for a permanent deal. The Potters value the central midfielder in the region of €7m.
Ndiaye has also reportedly asked Stoke City to help him remain at Galatasaray and the Super Lig club are hopeful of reaching an agreement.
Stoke City paid Galatasaray €16m to sign Ndiaye during the 2018 winter transfer window but after the English club’s relegation to the Championship he was sent back to Turkey on a loan deal.
Ndiaye is under contract at Stoke City until June 2022.
