Sdna.Gr report Olympiacos are still showing an interest in Nottingham Forest midfielder Joao Carvalho ahead of the next transfer window.
The player was linked with the Greek side last week as they look to rebuild their squad for next season.
The 21-year old, who joined Nottingham Forest from Benfica for €15m, is said to be a target for the Greek giants and Sdna report they are confident that they can get the player.
It’s claimed Carvalho’s agent Jorge Mendes has close ties with Olympiacos’ owner Evangelos Marinakis and this could play a vital role in the potential transfer.
He owns both Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos.
It’s reported Carvalho is also hoping for a move at the end of the season as he looks for a club that matches his ambitions.
Carvalho has made 35 appearances for Nottingham Forest in the Championship this season and scored 4 goals.
He is under contract with the club until June 2023.
