Arriving from Deportivo La Coruña for just over £5m in the summer, Florin Andone’s time at Brighton & Hove Albion appears to already be coming to an end.
According to Sport.ro, the Romania international is already in Istanbul to finalise a move to Fenerbahçe, who are currently struggling to get rid of Islam Slimani despite a number of clubs being interested in his services.
The outlet explain that after just six months, 17 appearances and three goals for the Seagulls, the striker’s time in England is up and he’s currently undergoing his medical ahead of the transfer.
Fenerbahçe are currently 14th in the Süper Lig, winning just four games from a possible 19 and a handful of points above the relegation zone, and the Turkish club are doing their best this transfer window to climb back up the table.
Prior to his move to Brighton, Andone had done relatively well in Spain, scoring 18 goals in 69 appearances for Deportivo La Coruña and 27 in 58 for Cordoba CF.
