On Wednesday morning Gazzetta dello Sport opened the box again on Ivan Perisic to Manchester United, and no matter how hard we all now try to shut that box… it’s proving impossible so far.
Several Italian media outlets have jumped onboard the train and are happily rolling along with various different claims.
One of those is SportMediaset, who really go for it.
They claim that Manchester United are calling again, and Perisic wants to answer, keen on a transfer to the Premier League club.
This is because he’s unhappy at Inter, all of sudden deciding that the style of play and tactics in Serie A aren’t best suited to his game.
But wasn’t the Perisic interest all from Jose Mourinho? Well, SportMediaset won’t be defeated by that and state Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who they believe could continue as United manager, is also keen on the signing.
Inter Milan want €40m, and whilst they’d like to know if an offer will arrive this month, there’s said to be no doubt the player would say yes.
